Jason Kuiper, PGA
Director of Instruction

Kuiper brings to Bobby Jones Golf Course four years of experience serving as the Director of Instruction at the Woodloch Golf Performance Academy in Pennsylvania and prior experience as the Head Teaching Professional at the McCord Golf Academy in Florida. In addition to 10 years of industry experience, Kuiper also holds a Master of Business Administration from Moravian College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. He has worked under premier instructors and mentored top players throughout his career, notably achieving Class “A” PGA membership in 2011 under the supervision of one of Golf Magazine’s “Top 100” teachers, Rick McCord. Kuiper is highly regarded for his instructional ability, having been recognized as the North Florida PGA Section Assistant Golf Professional of the Year in 2014 and receiving honorable mentions as a US Kids “Top 50” Teacher in 2013, 2016, and 2017.

Justin Martin, PGA
Lead Instructor

Martin brings to Bobby Jones Golf Course three years of experience serving as the Director of Golf and Instruction for The First Tee of Atlanta, as well as three years prior experience as an assistant professional at facilities in Georgia and Virginia. An Atlanta native, Martin graduated from Hampton University with a degree in Sports Management, earning three team MVP awards while playing on the golf team. A strong player, he has qualified for and competed in the 2017 and 2018 PGA Professional National Championships, and is the 2018 Georgia PGA Match Play Champion. Also recognized as a talented instructor, he is the recipient of the 2016 Georgia PGA North Chapter Youth Player Development Award. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Georgia PGA.

Tonya Danckaert
Lead Instructor

Tonya is a native of Stone Mountain, GA. She graduated from Redan High School and the University of Kentucky. Tonya has competed at every level of golf from the Atlanta Junior Golf Association to the LPGA Tour. She competed in many championships including the U.S. Junior Girls, U.S. Amateur, SEC Championship, NCAA Championship, the U.S. Open and The Open Championship. Tonya was a college golf coach and previously taught at The Atlanta Athletic Club. Her teaching focuses on the development of strong fundamentals and a no-nonsense approach to course management.

Rachel Clopton, PGA
Lead Instructor

Rachel brings to Bobby Jones 3 years of experience serving as a teaching professional and assistant golf professional at facilities in Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama and Connecticut.  Rachel is a native of Memphis, TN who earned her Class A PGA professional status by graduating from the PGM Program at Mississippi State University in 2018 with a Degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining Bobby Jones, she served as an instructor at a Junior Golf Academy in Buckhead teaching children of all ages.  Rachel focuses on developing an instructional program catering to each player, ensuring golfers of every skill level achieve their true potential.
